Negombo Beach is a five kilometer long sandy beach located on the west coast of Sri Lanka. Negombo is a cozy coastal and holiday town with its main attraction being the wide golden sandy beach.
The beach offers a variety of activities, such as kite surfing and windsurfing. The wind conditions at Negombo Beach are perfect for a tummy tuck joint at sea level, especially between January and March. The strength of the wind naturally also affects the sea, so you can expect nice high waves.
If you prefer to take it easy, you can spend your holiday in the shade of lush palm trees by the sea. When you crave variety, you can go for a long walk to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Negombo has grown from a small fishing village to a holiday town, so you can often see picturesque fishing boats on foot.
At the end of the day, you can dip your toes in the soft sand and enjoy an incredibly spectacular sunset. Head into the promenade as the evening fades and pop into one of the cozy restaurants or atmospheric bars that line the street.
